We are seeking a motivated and versatile Truck Driver/Odd Job professional to join our dynamic team! In this role, you will be responsible for operating various types of trucks and performing a wide range of delivery and transportation tasks. Duties
- Operate trucks with manual transmissions,flatbeds, crane trucks and stake bed trucks for various delivery needs
- Load and unload freight safely using forklifts or manual handling techniques, ensuring proper securing of cargo
- Drive route-specific deliveries, adhering to schedules and traffic regulations to ensure prompt service
- Perform odd jobs such as equipment setup, minor repairs, or special transportation requests as needed
- Conduct pre-trip inspections on vehicles to verify safety standards and report any issues promptly
- Assist with freight sorting, staging, and organizing shipments for efficient delivery or pickup
- Maintain accurate logs of mileage, deliveries, and vehicle maintenance activities
Experience
- Proven experience in truck driving across different vehicle types such as flatbeds, crane trucks, stake bed trucks, truck with trailers
- Delivery driver experience demonstrating punctuality and customer service skills
- Familiarity with manual transmission operation is required
- Ability to load & unload freight efficiently using forklifts or manual methods
- Knowledge of route planning and route driving best practices
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) appropriate for the vehicle type being operated
- Experience with freight handling involving crane trucks or specialized equipment is a plus
