As a Data Platform Engineer at Gradient Cyber, your role involves designing and building scalable data models and enrichment pipelines to support analytics and AI-driven capabilities. You will work at the intersection of data engineering, analytics, and security, collaborating closely with internal teams to ensure high-quality, intelligence-ready data.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Designing and maintaining unified, canonical data models across multiple data sources
- Building and optimizing data pipelines (ETL / ELT) for enrichment and transformation
- Ensuring data consistency, quality, and lineage across systems
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to support analytics, detection, and automation use cases
- Improving data usability for AI, analytics, and operational workflows
- Documenting data models, transformations, and enrichment logic clearly
- Continuously enhancing data reliability and platform performance
To excel in this role, you should have 2-3 years of experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, or data platform roles. Additionally, you should possess a strong understanding of data modeling, schema design, data transformations, pipeline architecture, and hands-on experience with modern data tools or platforms. Exposure to security, log, or operational data is a plus, along with the ability to quickly learn new tools and technologies, especially in data enrichment and AI workflows. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and clear communication skills in English are essential.
Experience with data enrichment platforms or AI-driven data systems, data parsing, log parsing, or parser development is nice to have for this role.
Join Gradient Cyber to work on real-world cybersecurity data problems at scale, gain exposure to AI-driven data systems and modern data stacks, and have high ownership and impact from day one. This opportunity also offers a clear growth path into Data Architecture, Platform Engineering, or AI / Data Leadership roles.
