SR.Engineering Manager – Web Portal
About the Role
We are looking for an Engineering Manager – Web Portal (Frontend) to lead the design, development, and scaling of high-traffic web platforms supporting Mutual Funds, Trading, Research and others web portals. This role will own frontend architecture and delivery for customer-facing platforms that demand high performance, reliability, and security.
You will work closely with Product, UX, Backend, and Business teams to translate complex financial workflows into intuitive, scalable, and responsive web experiences, while building and leading high-performing frontend engineering teams.
The ideal candidate will have consistent growth in software engineering roles in consumer Internet or SaaS companies, with increasing ownership in software delivery and people management year on year.

Key Responsibilities
Own frontend architecture and system design for large web portals
Lead engineering teams building scalable, performant, and secure web applications
Drive best practices in frontend development, code quality, and performance optimization
Collaborate with Product, UX, Backend, and Platform teams to deliver end-to-end solutions
Ensure responsiveness, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility
Mentor engineers and develop frontend technical leadership
Take accountability for delivery timelines, platform stability, and user experience metrics
What We Look For
10 years of experience in frontend or full-stack development with 5 years in engineering leadership roles
Strong expertise in building and scaling consumer-facing web platforms
Proven experience managing teams delivering complex, high-traffic portals
Solid understanding of frontend architecture, state management, and performance optimization
Ability to work closely with business stakeholders and translate requirements into technical solutions
Strong understanding of computer science concepts, data structures, and algorithms.
Excellent communication skills and a strong inclination towards people growth, team development, and a growth mindset required to build high-performance engineering teams.
