<h3><strong>Senior Director, National Walks</strong></h3><h4><br></h4><h3><br></h3><h3><strong>About the Role</strong></h3><div><br></div><div>A confidential national nonprofit organization is seeking a Senior Director, Walks to lead the strategy, growth, and national performance of a large-scale peer-to-peer fundraising walk program spanning multiple U.S. states. This is a strategic fundraising and leadership role—not an event execution position. The Senior Director will serve as the national owner of the organization’s walk platform, accountable for revenue growth, partnership development, and cross-state performance excellence.</div><div><br></div><div>The ideal candidate will bring deep experience in peer-to-peer fundraising, multi-market strategy, and corporate partnership development—and will thrive in an environment that blends strategic planning with cross-functional collaboration and influence.</div><div><br></div><h3><strong>What You’ll Do</strong></h3><div><br></div><ul><li class="">Lead the vision, goals, and framework for a nationwide walk program that drives sustainable revenue growth and engagement across all states.</li><li class="">Establish national benchmarks and growth plans to scale walk fundraising from $6.6M to $10M by 2030.</li><li class="">Develop and manage national-level corporate sponsorships and multi-market partnerships that amplify impact and visibility.</li><li class="">Serve as a strategic advisor to state directors and fundraising teams—providing tools, playbooks, and data-driven insights that elevate execution and accountability.</li><li class="">Pilot new peer-to-peer fundraising models, digital engagement strategies, and partnership frameworks to strengthen donor pipelines and participation.</li><li class="">Define national KPIs, monitor multi-state performance, and deliver regular reports and insights to executive leadership.</li></ul><h3><br></h3><h3><strong>What You Bring</strong></h3><div><br></div><ul><li class="">8+ years of progressive experience in fundraising, partnerships, or development leadership roles.</li><li class="">Proven success leading large-scale, multi-state, or national peer-to-peer fundraising programs.</li><li class="">Demonstrated ability to develop strategy and drive results without direct authority in a matrixed organization.</li><li class="">Deep understanding of corporate sponsorships, donor engagement, and event-based fundraising ecosystems.</li><li class="">Strong analytical and communication skills—able to translate performance data into actionable insights.</li><li class="">Experience creating and scaling fundraising tools, frameworks, and resources for distributed teams.</li><li class="">Mission-driven leadership style with a collaborative, entrepreneurial mindset.</li></ul><h3><br></h3><h3><br></h3><h3><br></h3><h3><strong>Additional Details</strong></h3><div><br></div><ul><li class=""><strong>Work Model:</strong> Fully remote (U.S.-based)</li><li class=""><strong>Compensation:</strong> Negotiable and flexible based on experience, background and role alignment </li><li class=""><strong>Reports To:</strong> National Development Leadership / VP, Field Development</li><li class=""><strong>Travel:</strong> Periodic national travel for events, conferences, and strategic meetings (flexible based on performance impact)</li></ul><div><br></div>
