Munchies Seafood & Grill is looking for a dependable, hardworking Dishwasher/Food Prep Team Member to join our growing team. This position is responsible for maintaining a clean and organized kitchen while assisting with basic food preparation to support daily restaurant operations.
This is a fast-paced environment where teamwork, reliability, and attention to cleanliness are essential.
Responsibilities
Wash dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
Keep dishwashing area clean, organized, and stocked.
Assist with food preparation including chopping vegetables, portioning ingredients, and preparing sauces.
Restock food items and kitchen supplies as needed.
Take out trash and maintain cleanliness throughout the kitchen.
Sweep and mop kitchen floors.
Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times.
Assist cooks and kitchen staff with additional tasks as needed.
Help with opening and closing kitchen duties.
Qualifications
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
Reliable transportation and consistent attendance.
Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Previous restaurant experience is a plus, but not required—we are willing to train the right candidate.
