You’ll teach motivated students from around the world in real time, supported by CGA’s technology, curriculum and community.</p><p class="MsoNormal"><span><strong>Class times (PST): </strong></span><strong>Tuesdays & Thursdays, 1:00 PM</strong></p><p class="MsoNormal"><span><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></span></p><ul><li><p class="MsoListParagraph"><span>Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality live lessons in Applied Math, tailored to the needs of a diverse, international group of students.</span></p></li><li><p class="MsoListParagraph"><span>Use a range of teaching strategies and digital tools to create an interactive and supportive online classroom.</span></p></li><li><p class="MsoListParagraph"><span>Assess student progress, provide targeted feedback, and adapt your teaching to ensure strong learning outcomes for every student.</span></p></li><li><p class="MsoListParagraph"><span>Plan and communicate clear course schedules, detailing lesson content and assessment timelines.</span></p></li><li><p class="MsoListParagraph"><span>Lead professional, interactive live sessions, making full use of CGA’s online learning resources and technology.</span></p></li><li><p class="MsoListParagraph"><span>Set meaningful homework, design and administer assessments, and give constructive feedback that encourages student growth.</span></p></li><li><p class="MsoListParagraph"><span>Develop high-quality educational materials, including tests and exams, contributing to CGA’s rich resource library.</span></p></li><li><p class="MsoListParagraph"><span>Manage your online classroom on Canvas, keeping it well organised with assignments and assessments for easy student access.</span></p></li></ul><p class="MsoNormal"><span><strong>Required Qualifications</strong></span></p><ul><li><p class="MsoListParagraph"><span>A minimum of 5 years’ teaching experience at high school (Grades 9–12) in a school setting (please note that, while valuable, tutoring experience cannot be counted towards this requirement).</span></p></li><li><p class="MsoListParagraph"><span>A Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mathematics or a related field.</span></p></li><li><p class="MsoListParagraph"><span>Exceptional communication skills for effective interaction with students, parents, and the CGA team.</span></p></li><li><p class="MsoListParagraph"><span>Familiarity with online teaching platforms and a passion for innovative, technology-enabled education.</span></p></li><li><p class="MsoListParagraph"><span>Knowledge of a US high school curriculum and, where relevant, associated external examinations.</span></p></li></ul><p class="MsoNormal"><span><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong></span></p><ul><li><p class="MsoListParagraph"><span>A recognised teaching qualification (e.g. a postgraduate certificate in education, a teaching degree, or a teaching license).</span></p></li><li><p class="MsoListParagraph"><span>Previous online teaching experience.</span></p></li></ul><p class="MsoNormal"><span><strong>About Crimson Global Academy</strong></span></p><p class="MsoNormal"><span>CGA is a world-class online school delivering live, real-time learning to ambitious students around the world.
