• *Title:** E‑commerce Website Designer for Marcellus Watch Co (Wix)
• *Project type:** One‑time project, with option for ongoing updates
• *Brand:** Marcellus Watch Co – watches and jewelry with a luxury look at an accessible price (see marcelluswatchco.com)
### Project overview
I already have a Wix account and a basic site started for Marcellus Watch Co. I’m looking for an experienced e‑commerce web designer/developer to log in to my existing Wix setup, refine the structure and design, and turn it into a clean, high‑converting online store for watches and jewelry. The site should make it easy for customers to browse products, submit a concierge request, and purchase online.
### Goals
- Polish and complete my existing Wix site rather than starting from scratch.
- Create a modern, mobile‑first design that feels premium but approachable.
- Clear paths to:
- Shop watches and jewelry
- Submit a “Concierge” request
- Learn about the brand story and policies
- Keep everything simple enough that I can update products, photos, and copy myself.
### Scope of work
- Review my current Wix site and propose a sitemap (home, shop/collections, product pages, concierge page, about, contact, FAQ, policies).
- Design and build the key pages within Wix using my brand colors, fonts, and imagery.
- Set up product catalog and product templates (images, description, price, variants, related items).
- Configure cart and checkout, shipping options, and basic tax settings.
- Add basic SEO (page titles, meta descriptions, alt text) and connect analytics if possible.
- Integrate contact / concierge forms and social links.
- Provide a short handoff (quick Loom video or simple guide) so I can manage content and products.
### Ideal freelancer
- Strong portfolio of Wix e‑commerce sites (fashion, jewelry, or lifestyle is a plus).
- Comfortable working inside an existing Wix project and improving structure/design.
- Able to suggest UX improvements and not just follow instructions literally.
- Good communication and clear timeline management.
### What to include in your proposal
- 3–5 links to Wix e‑commerce sites you’ve designed.
- A brief note on your approach to improving an existing Wix site.
- Estimated timeline and fixed‑price budget for:
- Review + design proposal
- Build + revisions
- Final QA and handoff
