Creative Strategist – Meta Ads (Media & Publishing Brands)
Other Jobs To Apply
No other job posts for this day.
We run a growing portfolio of online media brands serving engaged audiences in mental health, personal development, and wellness. Our newsletters reach hundreds of thousands of readers daily with content designed to genuinely help people live better lives.
We're looking for a Creative Strategist to partner directly with our Meta media buyer and own the creative side of ad campaigns. You'll figure out what to say, how to say it, and why it converts — then bring those concepts to life using AI tools.
This isn't a "make it look pretty" design role. It's a strategy-first position for someone who understands consumer psychology, can dissect what's currently working on Meta, and can translate those insights into scroll-stopping static images and videos, produced primarily through AI.
Pay is tied to performance: alongside your hourly rate, you'll earn a profit share on the campaigns your creatives drive.
What You'll Be Doing
Develop creative strategies and ad concepts in close collaboration with our Meta advertiser
Research winning ads on Meta (Ads Library, spy tools, competitor analysis, trend monitoring) and reverse-engineer why they perform
Apply marketing psychology — hooks, angles, pain points, desire triggers, objection handling — to every concept
Produce static and video ad creatives using AI tools (image generation, AI video, AI voiceover, etc.)
Write or brief the ad copy that pairs with your visuals
Analyze creative performance with the media buyer and iterate quickly — kill underperformers, scale winners, and apply learnings to the next batch
Maintain a steady pipeline of fresh creative tests so campaigns don't go stale
Requirements
Proven experience creating ad creatives for Meta (Facebook/Instagram), with examples you can show and results you can explain
Strong understanding of direct-response marketing and consumer psychology
A demonstrated process for researching what's working on Meta and adapting it to new offers
Hands-on proficiency with AI creative tools for both static and video — most output here is AI-generated
Self-directed, comfortable with performance-based accountability
Background in graphic design or video creation/editing
Copywriting experience for paid social
Familiarity with creative testing frameworks (batch testing, iteration matrices, etc.)
Not a Fit For
Beginners looking to learn on the job — we need someone who's already shipped ads that performed
Pure designers who want a finished brief handed to them — you're building the strategy here
Anyone uncomfortable with AI-first production workflows
